I got nothin'
I’m at a loss, I have things I want to write about but I can’t figure out how. So I am just going to ramble for a min to see what happens.
On Monday night I watched House of Sand and Fog, mainly because I think that Jennifer Connelly is simply the most beautiful person on the planet, but also because I had hear a lot of good things about it. Within the first five minutes I was sold, Jennifer Connelly IS the most beautiful person on the planet! Not only that but she is a wonderful actress, there is a scene at the very beginning where she is talking on the phone to her mother, everything seems great until a single tear runs down her face. At that moment you can tell that she is deeply troubled inside and does not what her mother to know. The whole movie is an emotional struggle, you really feel for both main characters, Ben Kingsley does and excellent job as well. Very good movie and I highly recommend watching, just be sure that if you are prone to crying, have a box of tissues nearby, this one almost got me.
Last night trivia night @ Lady Falconburghs, it was about normal, except that I was winning. Well more than normal anyway, I tied one but lost the bonus question, then I tied another and won the Chug-off. The real surprise came during the Sinberg Challenge. Aaron, the host and owner, always challenges a member of the audience to a one on one after game five. He announced that he wanted to take on a member of the winning team from Lunacy, so he picked me. Aaron NEVER loses (well, he does but it is very rare and he always seems to forget after the next game which he always finishes with "and still Undefeated!!!"), he picked me because I was on the winning team and he wanted to make fun, which is normal. Not looking forward to my public embarrassment I head up to the counter and get ready for a whooping, and all sorts of comments about my center parted hair. The questions are read and I can only answer 3 of ten. It turns out that he only answered 2 of them and I won!! Not only did he pick me because he KNEW I was going to lose but he was announcing the fact that I was on the winning lunacy team just so he could rub it in later, what a backfire!! Anyway he gave me my free beer token and promptly forgot about the loss. Nobody will ever know he lost, (but I will, and so will all of you) especially to me.
At the end of the evening he offered me a business proposal, if I helped him get his computer working correctly again (which means erasing all the porn :-)) he gave me a sweet Pilsner Urquell (sp) neon sign! It is very cool, I will post a picture of it later. I think that it was a fair trade!

To this day I swear that Jennifer Connely was NOT 13 in the movie Labyrinth. No friggin way. I've only ever seen her in that and the Hulk which sucked big fat monkey ones.
Nice job on the underdog win and the fine business deal.
Good job on the Sinburg Challenge last night. I had faith in you. YAY!!!! My questions were hard. I'm sorry.
I am disappointed, however, in the fact that you enjoyed House of Sand and Fog. I wanted to get my money back during that movie. To each their own I guess. Ummm...yea, I hope you are doing well and I'll talk to you later. Peace!
