Im pretty sure I've said and done all of this.
This seems to be the reason why I dont have a date (at least that is what I am going to tell everybody). My friend Andy is in the same boat, just read a few of his posts and it fits.

Hey, I really liked that little article I just read... Does any body write a book on why smart, nice girls can't get boyfriends? Hmmmmmm dont think I would care to read it actually. I am just using you right now to vent a little from the opposite sexes end of things. Why do the nice guys always think that they are the only ones to finish last? What about some of us girls? I have friends who are single right now who are attractive, intelligent, nice, funny women. Yet the men in their lives discard them as oh so and so instead of taking enough time to pull their head out of their self pitying asses to possibly take a chance to get to know them for who they really are, instead counting on them as that girl who is there. That is how I feel... I don't know, maybe i am just being self pitying cause i am single....no, not really, while yes I do long for someone in my life right now its not a priority I would rather work my three jobs happily and not have time to even try to deal with it. Honestly, lately I believe that is one of the reasons I work so much. To avoid dating, why because I like guys who usually on some level make me feel like I am not good enough... Who are they to tell me that? It happens alot, but hey, whatever. And as for what that guy said about how girls don't want logical conversations that is so wrong. Some of us long for a guy who we can have real conversations with, logical or emotional. All I can say to you is be who you are thats all you got. I think your ok and whos to say that some other girl wont come along some day who thinks the same. Be Happy too, with who you are because if your not you can never find true happiness with another.......If you ever feel like talking or getting more fortune cookie advice feel free to give me a call, I may be able to pencil you in somewhere.....
