Apparently I am "An Unamerican Rebel"

Strange, I consider myself very American. I am proud of it.
Now Rebel... hmmm givin my current Star Wars infatuation, I could say that.
I do on some level feel that this country is moving in a direction that is not at all good. I have always believed in more.. More information, more knowledge, more communication, more openness, more acceptance. I believe that the only way we as a species can move forward is if we stop blocking everyone else out. I know this is a bit utopian of a view but I think it is something to work towards. I believe that all of the people on the earth can transcend border differences, religious differences, political differences, and work together to better humanity. I do believe in staying true to your culture as well as accepting other cutlures. (maybe it is part of your culture to hate other cultures, I don't know how to solve that one.) The only way this can happen though is if we quit shutting everyone else out due to their specific Culture/religion/Political views. There is a way we can all agree, but because there is nobody on this planet that knows everything, there is no way to find it. That is why sharing of information is key, Everyone on the planet does know everything (well that we know right now, the future is a bit hazy still.) So if we

Funny he called you a rebel. Isn't that term typically associated with southern conservatists, and more specifically those who fly the confederate flag, have gun racks in their jacked up pick-ups, shop at piggly-wiggly, and hate everyone but each other? Maybe it's just me.
