Excuse me, would you mind if I ate your grass?

As I was getting ready for work this morning I noticed our friendly neighbors in the back yard eating the grass. No not people... duh... deer. There were three of them in the yard. Not that this is an uncommon sight, it is just the first time I've seen them at my new house so that makes it significant.

I took some pictures, you can see them here.

Ha! I actually envisioned a bunch of children hunched around a pile of freshly-picked grass, peering greedily from side to side....

That was actually my intention with the title!

You should have snuck up on them around the front of your house. I was in Valley Forge once and the deer there get used to people... anyway, there were probably 50-60 deer in a huge group and I went running and screaming right at them... doing summersaults and flailing around wildly.... with people staring at me....

Pretty friggin stupid thing to do... but it was back in my stupid high school days....

...Good thing I didn't get trampled... deer can kick some butt.

1st, you should show me how to put some goddamn pictures on my blog. it is bland. plus, there is a lack of information on my blog because I can only think of so much stuff to write about. I was kind of hoping for just a random topic that I had not yet covered to be thrown out there and I would discuss it at length. Anyway, the deer will do that. Wait until you open the front door and find a buck standing on the landing. (I kind of like how standing and landing rhyme there.) It's freaky.

How is the new house? I hope it is wonderful and working out well. I want to come visit sometime and check out what you've done with the place. Great pics by the way. I see them in my yard too from time to time.
