Under the table and dreaming.
So I had an eventfull day yesterday.
On tuesday night as I am getting ready to leave work, one of the other managers walks up to me and hands me 2 tickets to see Dave Mattews Band Live in Albuquerque, NM last night.
So yesterday I left work at two, Jumped in the truck, filled it with gas @ 3.19 a gallon, and took off on a 4 hour drive to Albu-crappy (I just dont want to spell it again.)
I have always loved DMB and was thrilled to see them live. I have never been to a real concert before so to have my first be DMB was awesome.
Anyway I arrived back in durango @ around 4:45AM and promptly showed up to work this morning @ 8.
Spur of the moment, exausting and extremely fun trip. Just the way I like them.
So Im a just a little bit tired today, but it was all worth it.

I got to see them a few years ago for free in a Superbox at Veteran's Stadium in Philly. Unfortunately, my seats were kinda behind the stage, so I got an awful combination of the music and the echo of the music. The whole show sounded terrible. But it was free and I had all the free food and drinks that I wanted.
Congrats on popping your concert cherry! So you had really never been to a real concert before? To me, that idea just seems so... foreign. Well, I'm happy you had a good experience! You always remember your first time. *wink*
That was my first real concert. I saw dave once during the Olympics in Salt Lake but it was just a charity show after the awards cerimony, real short and you could tell he was freezing cold and didnt want to be there. Thats about it.
Sounds like fun. Kate is right though, you always remember your first, well knida. I think my first official concert was Squirrel Nut Zippers. My first Big concert was Bare Naked Ladies. Both were good concerts.
who went with you? I'm jealous. i wanted to go sooo bad. I want to hear all about it. See you at Falc's. :)
