ConocoPhillips Reported an 89% increase in profits
So you an me, the normal people on which this contry is supposed to survive are getting completey SCREWED by these companies? Why isnt this in the top stories? Now Im not complaining about high gas prices, because I know we are still pretty much the cheapest in the WORLD, but this is bullshit! They tell us that the high prices reflect the higher cost of oil *caugh*bullshit*caugh*. If that were the case then thier profits should not be increasing! ARRGGHH!! I wish I had more time to rant on this...

I totally agree. I heard that on the CBS news tonight and it made me upset to know that they are profiting sooo much. Grrr.
didn't you know? everyone drives a car these days, and they CAN gouge you, they can suck your wallet dry, and there's fuck all you can do about it.
