Screw country proves their worth...
So I bitched about Screw Country Auto a few days ago. So here is the outcome...
So I went in on saturday for the work that I had to force them to do.. They had 2 tasks, (well 3 but I had already assumed they would forget about the other complaint I had)
1. Fix the squeeks and bangs that come from the rear suspension
2. Perform the recall on a loose parking brake nut.
I KNOW I told them about the recall when I scheduled the appointment. (I should not have to because when they get the truck thats the first thing they should check...)
Anyway, I Arrive @ 9AM on Saturday to get it done, first words out of their mouth "Oh, I dont see anything on the schedule for that..." I told them that I had scheduled the appointment on Monday and gave them the name of the MANAGER that scheduled it. He quickly agreed to work on it.
So I went off an started annoying some salesmen for a test drive of the fastest cars I could find on the lot. I only got to drive one, but it was fun.
Dodge Charger R/T Daytona 350HP 390Lb/ft torque.. fun fun fun...
Anyway I get called from the service dept saying that my truck is done and I go check it out, No squeek, no rattles, looks good, I am happy.
2 days later I am driving home from work and I feel something hit my foot. It is the screw from the parking brake that was recalled! so now I have to go back there again to have them to the recall that they obvously forgot to do!!!
Fine job you guys...

That's BS man. If they are a licensed dealer for any of the major car companies, I'd give corporate a call, especially Toyota if they're messing up their trucks. If they're just some country bumpkin used car dealer, then you're pretty much stuck. On the other hand, that 40 min drive each way to the other place is looking better and better. OR you could open a mechanic shop locally to give other people who are sick of these shenanigans a break.
They are a licenced dealer for Toyota, Dodge, Ford, Saab, Kia, Mitsubishi, and Chrystler.
A bit overwhelming huh... it is a full on real dealer.. but the service truly sucks ass.. I am going to chat with the service manager as soon as I can get in there.. unfortunatly that requires going in there..
Honestly I think you've wasted enough time talking to them. They're obviously not competent. I would seriously send an e-mail or letter to each and every one of those sponsoring companies telling them what a horrible name this place is making for them and how incapable of fixing their cars these guys are.
take a baseball bat. show them you mean business.
Just be sure not to smash your own windsheild.
